Ok so it's pretty well established that I always forget that I have this journal, but this time I really am going to keep up with it.... I hope.

So what have I been up to in the past couple of months???? Quite a lot actually. I am back at uni and did ok in my exams (not amazingly) so I am averaging a 2:1. I'm hoping that I might up it this semester and next semester. I should currently be working on my lab report but as always I am procratinating. But I will get it done tonight!

I have also been trying to organise my final year project. I'm hoping it's going to be interesting. It will be hard but interesting.

Anywho I should actually do that work. Only two extended abstracts to go! Shouldn't take that long....

One of my New Year Resolutions is going to be to update more - however til then you're stuck with my updating when I remember.

This semester I have been bogged down with uni work, as I want to be a psychologist I need a first so it means that I am spending my life in the library.

As you can see from the photo above it snowed ^_^ which was great, however being at university we don't get snow days :( so I had to go into uni but I was ill anyway. We still have a little snow left and some ice on the street a week later.

I am currently watching Frasier whilst attempting to do my uni work.

So way back on the 14th July I went to Disneyland Resort Paris and I thought it was about time I showed some pics of what happened!

Here's me on the second day (I think) infront of the castle.

Click below for more details.....

So we had to get up extremely early to get our flight we had to be at the airport for around 5.30am so that meant with three teenagers we had to be up an hour early and ready to leave for 5 so that we would actually leave at 5.15.

The trip to the airport was uneventful and we weren't waiting long before we were boarding the plane. At the other end we got our bags and spent I don't know how long looking for the shuttle bus to take us to the resort. However waiting with my brother is never fun - I swear he is the most impatient person in the world so we ended up getting a taxi with the agreement he would pay the extra money. I think it was in total around 80 euros!!!! So glad it wasn't out of my pocket!

Getting to the hotel and to our room was pretty simple so we just dumped our bags and headed into the park! After completely getting lost we finally got there! I was so excited I am like a little kid when it comes to DLRP - I've been 9 times and I still love it!
The first thing we did was stop for food we'd only had something small on the plane (except my brother who had a couple of bacon and egg sandwhiches before we left!) so everyone got a meal except me who found the most amazing ice lolly! It was a weird twister callippo thing - amazing!
Then wandered round went on some rides!

Here's Alex, Sarah and me infront of skull rock - if you go up in that rock you can see out the eye!!!

We had tea at Barbeque Bob's or something! it was actually pretty good and seemed quite healthy - at least for fast food the chicken breast wasn't greasy or anything! We stayed and watched the parade it was good as it was Bastille Day they
had a special firework display!

The next day you always have to joys of figuring out breakfast and then being astonished at the amount one person can pack away! Again we headed into the park and when we came out to go to the room for something we saw Donald and after Sarah scared the life out of him (though I'm sure it was a girl int eh costume) by screaming his name from about 50ft away we got a photo!

We went on the haunted mansion alot that day so there's quite a few photo's from there!

We had tea at the Marionette's and I had a Mickey burger -
which was amazing!

I spent most of my time trying to get a photo with Goofy because he is the best character by far but I spent most of my time being pretty unsuccessful how ever when we went to studios I manage to get a photo with him!!! I also went on Tower of Terror for the first time - I have never been on this kind of ride before so I was petrified - I think it shows on the photo - however it wasn't that bad! And the themeing for the queue was really good as when you are waiting it takes you through a mini twilight zone episode!

After that alot of it blurs together as it was quite a while ago we went! But I know we ate at some mexican place that was really
good! We also ate at the panini place in the village which I always like but it is a bit unhealthy!

i did loads of shopping and unfotunatley some of it's a little too big as I thought I was bigger than I am! whoops! I get confused with sizes! Although I should have known with having a kids top!

The trip back wasn't so good Andrew left the bags un-attended and wondered why I yelled at him! We had run out of money so had to borrow some off Sarah to buy lunch but once we landed I was happy to be home but I still miss it! I really want to go back for the christmas period! I'm trying to persuade my mum so fingers crossed - though I then have to persuade her to take
Sarah as well!

So here's just loads of photo's!

Enjoy!!!

And that's taken me hours!!!!

Enjoy!!

So once again I've had another huge gap between posting which I didn't mean to do but putting my photo's onto photobucket seems to take forever!!!!

Ok so recently I went to Eden Camp! Which was really good!

My friend Pam came over and after picking up 3 boxes of nappies and another friend Vicki we were on our way. Which was interesting as I'd never driven there before! (Have I mentioned I love driving!) So we arrived and headed into the huts - it was interesting because the first time I went I was with school and only about 9 or something and the second time I went with my mum and Grandad and it was so cold we didn't stay very long. So this time we went through each hut slowly and actually read the information - it reminded me of history A level - which I really liked. After stopping for lunch we went to watch the music show which was amusing - you gotta love always cleaning windows! We then finished the huts and ended in the chapel. I've never been upset by the holocaust - I mean I've studied it numerous times but when you're studying something you don't get involved you look more at facts etc but once you add emotional music I was almost crying it was soooo sad. It kinda hit me what really happened.

Then it was broken because I came out and the was old lady rummaging around in her pic'n'mix bag to find hard boiled sweets the offered it to her friend. It made me smile.

So here's a photo from the end of the chapel (obviously not going to take one in the chapel!)

They shall grow not old
As we that are left grow old
Age shall not weary them
Nor the years condemn them
At the going down of the sun
And in the morning
We will remember them

Here's a couple more photo's excuse how bad I look - it was still pretty cold!

<- Here's me at the Ritz hotel! Lol! Well I plan on going for my 21st hopefully it will look a little different! ;)

<- this was just too tempting!!!

I think that's it for photo's!

Since Eden Camp I've gone back to uni which in a way is good because I was really bored but unfortunately means I'm really busy! I have an essay already and the most confusing timetable! I swear how am I supposed to understand it! I have certain things only on certain weeks and some are just random! So confusing!

At some point I will upload my holiday photo's I swear!

So I've been up since 4am! I woke up needing the toilet and even though I tried to go back to sleep I had to get up and go! Big mistake! So it is currently 6.45 and I have been awake since 4! I have no chance of getting back to sleep as I have to get up at 7.30 to get ready to meet my friend in town. Why did I agree to meet so early?

So to keep myself awake I have been watching Beethoven's 2nd! I love this film - 90's films are far better than any other plus the fashion sense is so cool! Yes I never left the 90's in maturity or fashion sense!

Speaking of fashion I went shopping :D

So I didn't get most of it yesterday but I still spent alot of money - I just threw out 3 1/2 bags of clothes and I haven't had a proper shop since I was 12! Soo... you get the idea I NEED clothes it's not you're typical I'm a girl and i want clothes I need them!

So I got 2 shirts - I have a thing for loose shirts especially checked/flannel - I claim it's from watching too many 80's/90's movies (I even have a flannel shirt that was my mums in the 80's) so I got these two!

I like them and it's definatley my style.

I also got 2 pairs of straight leg jeans they're not as skinny as they seem in these pics I've been told I look ok in the but I'm still pretty nervous wearing them.

I also got these converse sooooo nice!

Today I have to get the basics ie cheap plain stuff then I'll actually have a wardrobe!

On another note I've lost weight - I was supposed to be maintaining and I lost - lol always goes in the wrong direction!

Anywho I have nothing else of interest to say so I'll shut up!

So last night I went with my family and some friends of the family to see the new Indiana Jones movie, I thought it was pretty good but some of the others who have seen the original thought it was a little over the top. I think because I hadn't seen them then I wasn't expecting anything. - though I am going to watch them now!

So the film starts out with a some teenagers challenging the military to a car race, not alot happens but they turn off and go to a military base where they are told it is closed for weapons testing. Next thing you know they are all shot and dragged of. The cars go in and Jones and another guy are pulled out the car. There's a bit of banter between the two about whether they will get out alive. Then some russian woman appears and tells them to find a cargo box in the warehouse behind them.

So Jones asks for a compass or bullets, eventually given some gun powder he explains the box is magnetized and the gun powder will point the way. So he throws it in the air and they follow it. This continues until they fnd the box where the pull it out and and it's a metal sarcophagus with a body inside.

At this point Jones decides to escape and he manages to get a gun for him and the other guy but the guy turns on him. Indiana throws down his weapon managing to shoot him in the foot then does a runner. There's alot of fighting alot of it going wrong for Jones but he makes it out after managing to accidently attach himself to a rocket type thing. He comes across a town only to find that it only has mannequins in and some sirens go off warning that a weapon is about to be launched. So as you do he hides in a fridge and it gets blown miles away.

Jones is then being scrubbed down and is questioned and accused of being a communist. It then switched to him teaching and another guy comes in a says that he has to take a leave of absence (with pay) and that he had to resign to get him that. The next thing you see is Jones and the teacher at his house and he's packing to go to England.

Jones gets on the train and some guy on a motorcycle (sheilah) says that Oxley said he could help him. Next there in a dinner talking about how Oxley found some legendary golden city and a crystal skull but was kidnapped then this guys mum was kidnapped and he has to help. He hands him a letter that is in a foreign language and two guys in suits come over and pull guns out. When leaving the dinner with them Mutt (sheilah) punches some football player then it goes from there and there a huge fight and they escape on his motorcycle. There is a chase and they end up riding through the library where the skid and have to stop. Some boys asks Jones for help on a question and he gives him advice and tells him to get out of library for once.

Jones figures out they have to go Peru to find Oxley - they end up going to an insane asylum (where Mutt tears up cos it looks like Ox has gone mad) then to a grave yard where they manage to get into a fight but still find the crystal skull in an underground chamber type thing. When they come out the Russians are there and take them to a camp. They show Jones a crystal skeleton and showing that it was aliens and make him look into the skulls eyes cos it sent Ox mad. Not alot happens, the mum appears and it someone Jones knows, Mutt punches someone and they escape. However during the escape the mum and Jones end up in quicksand and are sinking Mutt goes off to get something to pull them out with and Jones persuades Ox to go get help. Mutt comes back and pulls his mum out and when he passes it to Jones you find out it's a snake, he refuses to grab it but in the end he does. The Ox comes back with the russians and says help.

All that really happens after that is they escape again (I don't know how I was at the toilet) then there's a big fight/driving scene. You find out Mutt is Jones' son and real name is Henry, Mutt does a Tarzan and swings from vines, fireants eat people (apparently that can happen!!!!) and they go over a waterfall. There's a skull behind the waterfall and they go through finding paintings etc. They end up getting chased by tribe people but the skull scares them away. The eventually get to the other temple and find the room with gold and then the aliens one of which is missing it's skull. Ox gets his sanity back then the russians crash and she put the skull on. It comes to life and she says she wants knowledge. Everything starts spinning and Jones and the other escape and the temple starts collapsing around them. The russian woman explodes. They escape and see the ground swirling around a spaceship rise then disappear and it all get flooded.

It ends with a wedding between Jones and the woman.

Overall it was a good film but had a lot of similarities to stargate I kept expecting Teal'c to come barging in!

I also saw quite a few adverts for films I want to see including Wall E!

<---- he look soooooo cute! Then again I love disney so of course I'd want to see it!

Anyway just watching Gilgamesh at the minute - it's pretty rainy I need it to be sunny I am in desperate need of exercise!

So on Thursday night after ym Gran was recieved into the church we went out for a meal because who can be bothered to cook for 13 people. After a long deliberation we decided to go to Casa-Mia - I'm quite glad that I took my camera.

My aunt and uncle with their kids arrived first and ordered a table for 13 - apparently the person looked rather confused as to why they needed a table for 13 when there were only 4. ^^;; ....some people.

Of course we ordered a starter of garlic bread - so much for eating healthy! I ordered penne with tomato sauce it was pretty basic but there was LOADS I couldn't finish it!

It was nice to get out with my family - I love them they are the most important people to me in the world. I love them all. It was nice to just relax for once - even though I was supposed to be revising... ^^;; hopefully my grades will still be ok!

So here's a couple of photo's from the night!

So from L-R that is my Dad, Uncle Jim, Auntie Mary, Uncle John, Auntie Ang, Auntie Ali, my Mum and half of my Uncle Mark.

I love my Uncle Mark's facial expression on this photo.

Again he ruins the photo :P

And a nice one. ^_^

This is James, Me, Jen and Simon.

Simon and Sarah.

Me and Jen

And how much food I left - proof that there was WAY too much!

Friday morning I had to get up get ready to go to the funeral and then head off to my exam - research methods! Fun stuff ^^' I really hope I passed, luckily I finished early and I could get home. Everyone was waiting around to go it's so weird to see every dressed really smart. It was weird - the cars arrived and we went to the church. I made it about 30 seconds into the funeral until I started crying then during the communion I had to play my clarinet - I sounded like I was a 6 year old learning to play. It was a nice service I think I'll write something about the Eulogy tomorrow.

We then headed to Sandmoor Golf Club - it is pretty impressive I would have taken photo's but it seemed a little inappropriate. It was nice and then we headed home sat around and ate pizza it was nice just hanging around.

this is me in my dress - you can't see it at all but I like it. I also have alcoholic drink in my hand.

So yeah not alot has happened but it's been nice hanging around with my family.

This is going to be a pretty geeky and dull entry... but today I had Biological and Evolutionary Psychology I thought it was pretty interesting. It sounds so stupid to find it interesting.

I mean in Evolutionary we learnt that the only reason that we help people is because they are related to us and by helping them were are increasing the chance of our own genes continuing. I also had to answer a question on the evolution of the human brain. Which of course I find interesting. Did you know that the first part of the human brain to develop was the hind brain this contains the Myelincephalon and Metancephalon which are responsible for out most basic functioning such as breathing and temperature control. Then the mid brain developed which contains the Mesencephalon and that's incharge of our every day responses such as movement etc. Finally when humans became more advanced and needed brains that could cope with complex life the Forebrain developed which contains the diencehpalon and the Telencephalon which contain the Limbic system and the Basal Ganglia etc so that we can make rational decisions etc.

And the biopsychology multiple choice which I think was ok but it was pretty hard.

Afterward I bought a dress - it's ok it's not as good as I thought it was going to be but it has boobs! :D cos you know I don't :P I'll post pics at some point.

Anywho I need to find something to write about!

I actually think I am ready for that one! Wow my life is exciting :P

Friday is my last exam and I have been trying to persuade them to let me out early as it is my Gran's funeral, I had no luck persuading them until yesterday when I found out I can leave pretty much whenever I want. So at least I don't have to worry about having to get there in 30 minutes. I still have to turn up fully dressed.

I'm watching Better Than Chocolate! - such a romantic film!

Anyway I'm back to revising - my entries will be more exciting when I am actually doing something!
